Will students know it is an avatar?
Let them know. A line in the course description or the introductory lecture is sufficient, and the script and examples remain yours. School of AI publishes its avatar lessons openly; Coursera uses HeyGen to translate its instructors’ lectures.
Does it work with Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, Udemy or my LMS?
Yes. You can download a standard MP4 file and upload it just like any recorded lecture. No changes are needed on the platform.
Who can render videos with my likeness?
Only your account. Creating your avatar begins with a consent video that you record yourself, and HeyGen removes an avatar upon request.
Can I review the script before the video is created?
Yes. Rendering begins only after you approve the script, and you can download the script along with the MP4.
What happens when the material changes?
Edit the lines that have changed and render again. No need for a day in the studio or to match the original lighting.
