Summary

See everything HeyGen shipped in August 2026, from the launch of HeyGen for Real Estate to Edit Look, a new way to retouch and refine your avatar without recording again.

August marked the start of two new chapters for HeyGen. We built our first product designed end-to-end for a single profession, and we broke the oldest rule in avatar video: that you're stuck with how you looked on recording day. Here's what you need to know.

HeyGen for Real Estate

Real estate is a relationship business. The agent people see most is the agent they call first. But staying visible is hard. NAR's 2025 data shows that while 75% of realtors use social media, only 46% use AI to create content, because filming consistently is slow and most agents can't sustain it week after week.

HeyGen for Real Estate removes the production bottleneck entirely. It packages the three highest-leverage video formats agents create, built around your own avatar with your face and your voice, so every asset feels personal without a recording session per video.

  • Market updates that go out every week. Turn this month's local numbers into a camera-ready video in minutes. No filming, no editing, no crew.
  • Listing videos for every property. Walk buyers through a new listing on camera without ever setting up a camera.
  • Neighborhood insights that showcase your expertise. The local knowledge you already have, delivered as on-brand video that keeps you in front of your market.
  • HeyGen White Glove, if you'd rather not touch the tools at all. Text us what you want, we produce the video, and you approve before it publishes. Done-for-you, available in the U.S.

You keep the expertise and the relationships; HeyGen takes filming off the calendar. That's the difference between wanting to be visible and actually staying visible, which compounds directly into more listings.

Edit Look

Recording an avatar has always been a commitment: whatever you looked like the moment you hit record is what your videos looked like forever. So people waited for the right lighting, a better skin day, or a haircut they liked, and some never recorded at all.

Edit Look ends that. It's post-hoc retouching for existing avatars: clear blemishes, even out skin, soften fine lines, enhance makeup, and adjust lighting and exposure, with a slider that runs from subtle to full glow-up.

  • Retouch once, fixed everywhere. Edit Look applies at the avatar level, so every video you generate from that avatar inherits the fix. No reshoots, no waiting, no re-onboarding.
  • You control how far it goes. A single slider takes you from a light touch-up to a full polish. Your avatar, your call.
  • A lower bar to getting on camera. If feeling self-conscious kept you from recording an avatar, you no longer have to accept whatever the camera caught that day.

Both launches are live now. If you're a real estate agent, start with HeyGen for Real Estate; if you already have an avatar, open it and try Edit Look. More to come this fall.
