Jacob Politte is a Nashville-based mortgage loan originator with nearly 10 years of professional experience in finance. He supports borrowers throughout their homeownership journey, from first-time buyers to experienced homeowners buying or remortgaging a property.
Jacob had considerable mortgage knowledge to share, but before HeyGen, he was not creating videos. He saw other mortgage and property professionals using video to maintain visibility and attract business, but traditional production seemed too costly.
'I wouldn't want to make a video unless it was of a really high standard,' Jacob said. 'Traditionally, they cost too much to produce.'
Then a friend introduced him to HeyGen. Jacob started using HeyGen White Glove, an end-to-end video creation service in which a team work alongside him to plan, refine and produce his videos. He can share what he wants to create and let White Glove help turn it into a finished video.
Today, Jacob publishes mortgage videos every week. One video about construction loans for doctors has already prompted two doctors from outside Nashville to contact him, without Jacob spending anything on promoting it.
Create professional videos in as little as 5 minutes
Every Monday, Jacob publishes ‘Mortgage Monday’ on Instagram, covering mortgage myths, tips and common questions from borrowers. He typically publishes another video later in the week, giving him a consistent way to share his expertise with potential borrowers.
His workflow is straightforward. Jacob chooses a topic, uses ChatGPT to help develop the script, then sends it to HeyGen White Glove to turn it into a finished video.
‘It takes no more than five minutes from start to finish with HeyGen White Glove,’ Jacob said.
As the White Glove team have learnt his preferences, the process has required less back-and-forth. Jacob said he only needed to correct one word across his previous three videos.
‘They come out perfectly, or close to it, every time,’ he said. ‘I've got used to it, and it's hard to go back to not using it.’
Reaching medical borrowers beyond Nashville
Although Jacob is based in Nashville, his company lends in 49 states. This enables him to use video to reach borrowers well beyond his local network.
One area Jacob wanted to expand was lending to doctors, particularly construction loans for doctors. With HeyGen White Glove, he created a cinematic video showing him moving through a construction site whilst explaining the product, without having to organise and film the production himself.
The video achieved precisely the reach he was looking for.
'I've already had two doctors ring me after seeing those videos, even though they weren't in my area,' Jacob said. 'That's the audience I wanted to reach.'
His videos typically receive around 300 to 500 views. For Jacob, the enquiries from doctors show that success is not necessarily about reaching the largest audience. It is about putting his expertise in front of the right people.
Producing video at less than half the cost
Before HeyGen, achieving the quality Jacob wanted would have required traditional video production. HeyGen White Glove offers him an alternative. The entire video creation process is handled without Jacob needing to manage filming or editing.
'It costs less than half as much, and it's quick and straightforward,' Jacob said. 'It's so convenient to be able to go in, simply have an idea of what you want, and then have it produced by the end of the day.'
Rather than treating each video as a separate production project, Jacob can maintain an ongoing list of mortgage topics and work with White Glove to turn those ideas into content week after week.
Using AI video to gain a competitive edge
Jacob's videos have also caught the attention of friends and colleagues. Some didn't initially realise they were AI-generated, whilst others wanted to know how he was creating them.
For Jacob, AI is not replacing his expertise. HeyGen White Glove enables him to consistently present that expertise, together with his face and voice, to potential borrowers without making video production another part of his role.
‘Ultimately, it’s content, and it’s a way of putting my thoughts out there,’ Jacob said. ‘It puts me in front of people and allows me to share the knowledge I want to pass on.’
Jacob went from creating no video content to publishing every week, spending as little as five minutes getting a video into production and generating two enquiries from physicians outside his local market. With White Glove helping to create his videos from start to finish, he can focus on mortgage lending whilst maintaining a consistent presence for the people he wants to reach.
