Kevin Williams has more than 40 years of executive leadership, sales, and real estate experience across Georgia and North Carolina. After spending the last four and a half years focused primarily on commercial real estate, he recently launched his own firm, JKW Real Estate Group focusing on both residential and commercial.

Starting his own company meant Kevin needed to build a recognizable brand. Video was an obvious way to stay visible, but producing it himself quickly became another job. He bought video editing software, set up cameras and backgrounds, and started teaching himself how to create videos.

"I said, 'This takes too much time and too much energy,’" Kevin said. "I don't see myself being able to keep this pace up."

He found HeyGen after asking ChatGPT for an easier way. Then HeyGen White Glove simplified the process even further.

Handing video production over to HeyGen White Glove

HeyGen White Glove creates end-to-end videos for Kevin. Instead of managing production himself, he can share what he wants to create and let the team turn it into a finished video.

Kevin remembers receiving the first text asking if the team could make a video for him. He sent over what he wanted and soon had a video ready to publish.

"I was doing it all myself," Kevin said. "I'd get a, 'Do you want us to make a video for you?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, I do.' So it comes back within a few minutes and next thing I know, I've got it out on all my social media stuff. I'm like, 'This is a good life right here.’"

Now, Kevin can focus on the message, look, and audience instead of the production behind it.

"It certainly is a lifesaver for me," he said.

Becoming recognizable to people he's never met

Kevin's ultimate goal is lead generation, but with a new company, he first needs people to know who he is.

That's especially important in commercial real estate, where relationships can take years to develop. Kevin wants JKW Real Estate Group associated with higher-end Class A and Class B properties, so his videos reflect the professional image he wants potential clients to see.

The strategy is already making him more recognizable. At a marketing event, someone Kevin didn't know spotted him from across a room of roughly 80 people.

"People walk up to me I don't know, and they go, 'That's that guy from the commercial,'" Kevin said. The person recognized him from the launch video HeyGen created for his company. "When you're standing out amongst the crowd, that's good stuff."

For Kevin, that recognition is valuable in an industry where being remembered can lead to the next conversation.

"If you're not top of mind, you're forgotten," he said. "You got to be visible."

Turning visibility into new conversations

Kevin's company is new, but he's already noticing a change in who starts conversations.

After years of posting on LinkedIn, Kevin is now being recognized by people he doesn't know. New contacts are also reaching out instead of Kevin always making the first move.

"People are starting to call me now versus me going out, 'Hey, let's go do lunch, let's go have coffee,'" he said. "They're now calling me."

Kevin plans to build on that momentum by publishing video three to four times a week and expanding his presence on YouTube. He also wants to create longer educational content about single-family investing, multifamily properties, and commercial real estate.

Spending more time building relationships

Before HeyGen, creating video meant cameras, backgrounds, props, and time producing at his desk. HeyGen White Glove lets Kevin hand off that work and spend more time building relationships.

"You guys make my life so much easier," Kevin said. "Spend more time having lunches and playing golf and meeting people than sitting by my desk doing videos and stuff and changing clothes."

At 70, Kevin also sees technology as an opportunity to stand out in an industry where many experienced commercial real estate professionals haven't adopted AI video yet.

HeyGen White Glove gives him a way to consistently put his face and expertise in front of potential clients without making video production another job. And for a new real estate firm working to be known, the early signal is promising: people Kevin has never met are already recognizing him.
