Looks are essentially variations of your avatars. A single Photo Avatar can have hundreds of them, each showing a different outfit, background, or stance. This gives you the freedom to scale your content without needing new photo shoots every time.
To create your first Look, start with a Photo Avatar. Upload at least ten high-quality images of yourself, covering close-ups and full-body shots, different angles, natural expressions, and a variety of outfits. The more variety and clarity you provide, the more realistic your generated Looks will be. Avoid low-resolution images, heavy filters, or group shots that don’t reflect your current appearance. Once the model is trained, you can guide the output with simple text prompts. Type in something like “avatar in a formal suit on stage” or “avatar in a hoodie at a coffee shop,” and HeyGen will generate new Looks that adapt seamlessly to your avatar.
If your avatar doesn’t look quite right, you’re not stuck with the first version. You can retrain the model with additional photos to improve accuracy, making your digital double sharper and more consistent over time.
