Batch mode

Batch Mode is designed for speed and scale. Instead of building scenes or layering media, you provide a single script, choose your avatars, and let HeyGen generate dozens of avatar-only videos in just a few clicks. Each video is a standalone clip, clean, simple, and ready to use, making Batch Mode ideal for personalization, voice testing, internal communication, or translating a single message into multiple languages.

Creating a batch begins by selecting the avatars you want to feature. You can mix and match across Studio, Photo, and Instant avatars, including any custom ones like digital twins. Once selected, enter the script you want them to speak. The same script will apply across all avatars in that batch, producing a separate video for each one. If you’d like to create variations, different scripts, different avatars, you can add another row and repeat the process.

Voices and formats are customizable within each batch. By default, every avatar comes with a voice, but you can assign a new one from your personal library, a custom-designed voice, or HeyGen’s built-in options by language and gender. This flexibility makes it easy to experiment with tone and delivery or adapt your message for different audiences. Below the avatar list, you can also set the aspect ratio for your videos, choosing widescreen (16:9) for standard playback or vertical (9:16) for mobile-first channels like TikTok and Instagram.

Once everything is set, generating your videos is just one click. HeyGen creates an individual video for each avatar in the batch, for example, five avatars and one script equals five unique videos, each saved automatically into a dedicated folder on your Projects page. From there, you can preview, download, or repurpose them as needed.

By removing design layers and focusing purely on avatars, Batch Mode gives you a streamlined way to create content at scale. It’s fast, flexible, and built for scenarios where consistency and efficiency matter most.
